what is yolkmap?

yolkmap is a 'remapped' version of Shell Shockers' shellshock.js file. it takes the file and assigns all variables readable names. this makes it much easier to understand how the game works, and allows for easier development of frontend code.

yolkmap's goal is to create a version of shellshock.js for every release of shell shockers. this allows developers to see how the game changes between any two releases. it also allows for easier development of frontend code, as developers can more easily understand how the modern game works.

can i replace shellshock.js with yolkmap releases?

you can try, but there is no official support. remapping things has the unfortunate side effect of causing random syntax errors, which may make running things harder. if you really want to, you can report issues on discord, but fixes are obviously not guaranteed. this is a reference tool.
